An ellipse of light is projected onto a pool, which reflects a circle onto a translucent screen to be superimposed on the landscape. When the water is disturbed, it distorts the circle into wavering patterns that eventually return to a simplified geometry.

This light artwork was first created during an artist residency at Piaule in Catskill New York during an artist residency in September 2023.
